Opportunity

HUBB NYC is seeking a full-time intern to assist Asset Management. The Asset Management Internship is an excellent opportunity for students to develop a deep understanding of financial markets, investment strategies, and portfolio management. Interns will assist the asset management team with investment analysis, portfolio monitoring, and client reporting. This role will offer valuable exposure to various asset classes, including equities, fixed income, real estate, and alternative investments.

Duties & Responsibilities

·        Assist in the research and analysis of investment opportunities across multiple asset classes (equities, fixed income, alternatives, etc.).

·        Help with portfolio monitoring and performance reporting, including tracking investment returns and risk metrics.

·        Support the team in preparing client reports, presentations, and investment updates.

·        Assist in creating and maintaining financial models to assess investment opportunities and risks.

·        Conduct industry and market research to support investment decisions and strategic recommendations.

·        Provide administrative and operational support to the asset management team as needed.

·        Participate in team meetings and collaborate with senior members on ongoing projects.

Qualifications:

·        Currently pursuing a degree in Finance, Economics, Business, or a related field.

·        Strong interest in asset management, financial markets, and investment analysis.

·        Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint; familiarity with financial modeling is a plus.

·        Strong analytical skills with a keen attention to detail.

·        Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

·        Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.

·        Strong organizational and time-management skills.

Preferred Skills:

·        Previous internship or academic experience in finance, investment analysis, or asset management.

·        Basic understanding of financial markets, investment strategies, and portfolio management.

·        Knowledge of Bloomberg, Capital IQ, or other financial research tools is a plus.

·        CFA Level 1 or similar coursework is a plus but not required.

Compensation

·        $20/hr
