Operations Manager – Wilmington Facility

Position Overview
We’re looking for an Operations Manager to lead the efficient, safe, and cost-effective operations of our Wilmington facility. In this role, you’ll oversee plant and delivery operations, manage personnel, and drive continuous improvement—all while ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards.
Key Responsibilities
Your role may include:
- Overseeing delivery operations, including fleet maintenance and on-time shipment coordination.
- Supervising, training, and evaluating warehouse staff.
- Serving as the Divisional Quality Management Representative (QMR) with responsibility for ISO and Responsible Distribution compliance.
- Administering the company Corrective Action Request (CAR) Program and maintaining quality management records.
- Partnering with Corporate MEA to ensure compliance with DOT and OSHA regulations.
- Managing and improving facility operations to enhance efficiency and safety.
- Performing other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- Minimum Education: High school diploma or equivalent.
- Experience: At least 10 years in distribution, warehouse operations, and inventory management.
- Technical Skills: Strong computer proficiency, including Microsoft Excel expertise.
- Additional Skills: Effective communication and leadership abilities.
- Bonus Qualifications: Forklift experience and CDL Class A license (preferred but not required).
- This position is Safety Sensitive and is subject to random drug and alcohol testing.
