Production Planning Coordinator

Job Description Summary:

We currently have an exciting opportunity for all the candidates who have expertise in related field. As a Production Planner you will be responsible to organize production according to demand and quality standards. You will be the one to ensure our goods are produced on time for distribution in a profitable manner. An excellent production planner is well-versed in production procedures and ways to optimize them. They are organized and results-driven with great problem-solving skills. Advanced communication and computer skills are very useful for the role.

Responsibilities:

• Plan and maintain a placement schedule
• Develop and maintain production schedules and rolls
• Develop, update and maintain production standards
• Coordinate the sales availability with the sales team in the US and globally to book and supply orders against budgeted and forecasted sales volumes
• Entering and maintaining the domestic orders once entered and working the export team to make sure that orders are correctly planned
• Coordinate the confirmed order process
• Maintain import schedules and imports
• Work with the domestic customer service team to schedule hatchery space and delivery details with the hatcheries
• Work with the export team to establish set and shipping dates for orders
• Update yearly pricing changes and customer maintenance details
• Back up other team members and any other duties as needed

Knowledge and Skills

• Bachelor’s degree in Business or Agri Business preferred. (minimum requirement Associates)
• Five (5) plus years of working within the poultry industry in lieu of a degree.
• Outstanding interpersonal and communication skills (verbal & written) to work amongst various departments and valued customers.
• Computer skills including MS Office with expertise in Excel (formulas, macros, etc.). (MTech and SHAPS experience useful but not required)
• Ability to work independently without daily supervision.
