Hubbard Supplyhouse is seeking an energetic, self-motivated individual to join our family-like atmosphere. We are a plumbing, lighting, and irrigation distributor that assists local builders, plumbers, and homeowners in the creation of beautiful living spaces with kitchen and bath fixtures, as well as residential and commercial lighting. We are a family owned, Christian company that believes in taking care of our customers and employees. The ideal candidate will have previous warehouse experience, enjoys working with others, and excels in a “team first” work environment.
Warehouse Staff will increase operational efficiency, company profitability and customer satisfaction by accurately and safely receiving and storing materials, processing incoming and outgoing shipments, or delivering complete and on-time orders and requests to the company’s customers.
Shipping and Receiving
Responsibilities
Pull and prepare outbound customer orders; Receive, sort and replenish incoming inventory
Build, wrap, sort, and transport pallets and packages.
Use technology like RF devices to sort, scan, and prepare orders.
Accurately and timely receive, verify, stage and stock all incoming material.
Clean the workspace as you go and participate with the team in keeping our facility clean, safe, and accident free.
Qualifications
High school diploma / GED or equivalent education.
Prior warehouse experience in shipping, receiving, delivery, or inventory management is preferred.
High attention to detail.
Comfortable in a fast paced, changing environment.
Positive demeanor, dependability, and strong work ethic.
Self-starter with ability to learn our systems quickly.
Ability to lift items that weigh up to 50lbs regularly.
Knowledge of safety regulations and procedures.
Driver
Responsibilities
Deliver materials to the customer, which includes assistance with unloading, ensuring delivery of ticket with material, and collecting payment, if needed
Pick up customer returns, validating product match for credit requests
Perform daily pre-trip and post-trip inspections, fuel the truck as needed, and report any problems or issues to supervisor
Follow all DOT (Department of Transportation) standards and regulations
Follow and implement all company safety policies and procedures
Assist Warehouse personnel with pulling and preparing orders for shipment as needed, as well as receiving, verifying, staging and stocking incoming material
Ability to work overtime as needed
Qualifications
Have a high school diploma / GED or equivalent education.
A background in Warehouse operations and logistics, including shipping, receiving and delivery is preferred
Prior 26’ box truck driving experience is strongly preferred
Good communication and customer service skills
Ability to lift items that weigh up to of 50lbs
General digital literacy
Product knowledge or the ability to quickly learn it
