2nd Shift - Press Operator -Chatsworth, CA

Job Overview

Hubbell is seeking Press Machine Operators for our 2nd Shift Press Department in our Chatsworth, CA facility. Press Machine Operators will be part of a growing, dynamic, and diverse team during a time of growth. Press Operators will be producing thermoset compression molded parts of various sizes and using hydraulic-powered presses. Pay will begin at $20.50 per hour and a 10% shift premium on base pay is provided for working in the 2nd shift. In addition, as a newly hired employee with Hubbell, you will be eligible to receive a $1000 retention bonus after the 90th day with Hubbell. Health care benefits start on the first of the month following your hire date.

A Day In The Life

• Use basic hand held tools, including powered tools
• Read blueprints to verify correct information for processing.
• Properly weigh and handle material per requirements.
• Operate Press control panel
• Operate scissor lift table to safely off load and demold finished goods while following standard procedures set.
• Pre-check ensuring condition of Press Machine, light curtains, power tools, PPE, and lift table are all operable.
• Foster 6s and sustain practices.
