Job Overview
Responsible for operating robot programs, preparation, welding, and weld finishing operations to manufacture product to customer drawings, specifications, or other forms of instruction.
A Day In The Life
- Setup with First Article Inspection on job orders for MSA and bracket robot AEC & Lobot robots
- Fixture maintenance and new fixture part prototype run off generate maintenance work orders.
- Robot downtime troubleshooting and maintain consumable inventory cabinet for robots
- Hands on basic weld robot 6 axis programming knowledge
- Point to point and / or work object use with weld fixtures
- Advanced CNC machine operation with material handling robot
- Quality minded to production / engineering specifications
- Measure parts using tape measures, calipers, etc.
- Work in fast paced environment
- Generate new part programs, cut and paste similar part programs and program touch ups
- Cross trained on semi-automatic transition robot cell as operator and new employee trainer on cell
- Other duties as assigned
