A Day In The Life
- Purchase project material
- Make purchasing decisions in accordance with standard work
- Analyze and review purchase orders for accuracy and completion
- Item master creation and maintenance
- Clarify BOMs and refine item master descriptions for future orders
- Review quotes for accuracy
- Resolve PO issues in timely manner
- Process order acknowledgements from suppliers
- Update and maintain ECNs and NCNs
- Collaborate with project management and manufacturing to ensure timely delivery of materials to maintain capacities and schedule
- Accurately file all required documentation
- Obtain competitive pricing / new sources for materials
