The Process Operator is responsible for ensuring the correct product is packaged in the correct bag out of the correct silo. The Process Operator reports to the Production Supervisor. We have openings for 3rd shift Monday - Friday. The Process Operator position is located at our Marble Falls, TX plant.

Principal Duties & Responsibilities
- Receives instructions from Production Supervisor or Mill Operator as to which product, bag, and silo to utilize.
- Warehouses finished product for shipments.
- Operates and monitors packaging systems and keeps bag weights within specification. Packaging system consists of manual bagging stations and supersack filling stations.
- Operates machinery or equipment as trained and instructed following safety guidelines at all times.
- Inspects flatbeds/van trucks and loads them following the plant instruction.
- Completes paperwork such as plant orders, sample tags, truck inspection reports, etc.
- Stencils product with customer information, repalletizes product and reprocesses non-conforming product as required.
- Keeps work area, warehouse and outside of plant in a neat, orderly and safe condition following good housekeeping practices.
- Assists in unloading and storing of raw material.
- Employee may be asked to perform other duties as assigned.
- Sends samples of packaging product to Lab as required.
- Dumps non-conforming product, restocks product, and codes bags when needed.
- Knowledgeable of ISO quality system as required to ensure compliance to the ISO 9001 quality standard.
- Maintains accurate and legible records.
- Employee must learn and observe all applicable company policies, safe practices and perform all duties assigned by the Production Supervisor. This description covers the significant duties of the job but may not include occasional assignments which would be within the evaluation of this job.
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- One (1) year experience working in a manufacturing, production or construction environment required.
- Forklift trained and certified
- Ability to lift and handle an average of 55 lb. bags in repetitive motion on a daily basis, an average of 40 hours per week. During high demand periods may be required to work 10 to 12 hours per day up to 6 days per calendar week.
- Ability to read and comprehend safety policy manuals, SOP’s, MSDS, and various production schedules/reports.
