Job Title: ServerJob Summary:
We are seeking a friendly, knowledgeable, and service-oriented Server to join our team at Huck’s Place, an organic brunch café and wine bar focused on fresh, locally sourced ingredients. The ideal candidate will provide exceptional guest experiences, have a passion for healthy, organic cuisine, and be comfortable serving brunch and evening service. A strong knowledge of natural wines, craft beer, and seasonal menus is a plus. Early May Start Date, year round and seasonal positions available.
Key Responsibilities:
- Greet and serve guests with warm, attentive hospitality.
- Provide knowledgeable recommendations on seasonal dishes, fresh juices, and wine pairings.
- Accurately take food and beverage orders, ensuring special dietary needs are met.
- Deliver food and drinks efficiently, maintaining a high standard of presentation.
- Educate guests on our commitment to fresh, organic, and locally sourced ingredients.
- Support a fast-paced environment while maintaining professionalism.
- Assist with table setup, cleanliness, and side work before, during, and after shifts.
- Work seamlessly with the kitchen and barista/wine team to ensure smooth service.
- Handle transactions and operate the POS system efficiently.
- Uphold health and safety regulations, ensuring a clean and organized workspace.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Previous experience as a server, farm-to-table, organic, or wine-focused restaurant experience is a plus
- Passion for organic food, natural wines, and sustainable dining.
- Strong communication and customer service skills.
- Ability to multitask and stay organized in a fast-paced brunch and evening service setting.
- Familiarity with natural wines, craft beer, and fresh juice-based beverages is a plus.
- Flexible availability, including weekends, brunch, and evening shifts.
