What are the responsibilities and job description for the Director, Women's Services position at HUCKEYE HEALTH SERVICES LLC?
Job Description: Plans and monitors staffing activities, including hiring, orienting, evaluating, disciplinary actions, and continuing education initiatives. Prepares, monitors, and evaluates departmental budgets, and ensures that the department operates in compliance with allocated funding. Coordinates and directs internal/external audits. Integrates evidence-based practices into operations and clinical protocols. Acts as resource for staff regarding obstetrical concerns and/or neonate concerns.
Required skills and experience:
- Nurse license for KY
- AWHON Certification Required
- Associate degree at Min
- Must be able to work in a stressful environment and take appropriate action.
- Basic Life Support (BLS)
- Neonatal Resuscitation Provider (NRP) & AWHON
Required license: Registered Nurse licensed to work in the State of Kentucky.
Education:
- Associate’s Degree Required
- Bachelor's Degree Preferred
