This position is located in the Department of Housing and Urban Development , Government National Mortgage Association Ginnie Mae, Office of the President (OOP).

You must meet the following requirements within 30 days of the closing date of this announcement.

Specialized Experience :

For the GS-14 , you must have one year (52 full weeks) of specialized experience at a level of difficulty and responsibility equivalent to the GS-13 grade level in the Federal service. Specialized Experience for this position includes :

  • Managing and developing strategic plans;
  • Monitoring and assessing organizational performance;
  • Communicating with key officials, including management at various levels, to lead or assist with implementing long-range improvements to meet organization-wide objectives;
  • Analyzing programmatic data and applying analytical and problem-solving techniques to identify trends and interpret facts;
  • Analyzing and evaluating programmatic and operational policies, procedures, and regulations;
  • Responding to operational Risk Control Self-Assessments (RCSAs).

Specialized Experience :

For the GS-13 , you must have one year (52 full weeks) of specialized experience at a level of difficulty and responsibility equivalent to the GS-12 grade level in the Federal service. Specialized Experience for this position includes :

  • Assisting in the development of strategic plans;
  • Assessing program or organizational performance;
  • Representing a department or organization in strategic planning meetings with key stakeholders;
  • Analyzing data and creating written recommendations for program enhancements or policy and procedural changes.
  • Experience may have been gained in either the public, private sector or volunteer service. One year of experience refers to full-time work; part-time work is considered on a prorated basis. To ensure full credit for your work experience, please indicate dates of employment by month / day / year, and indicate number of hours worked per week on your resume.

    Time-in-Grade :

    In addition to the above requirements, you must meet the following time-in-grade requirement , if applicable :

    For the GS-14 , you must have been at the GS-13 level for 52 weeks.

    Time After Competitive Appointment :
