Reporting to the Project Supervisor, the Laborer will provide support to the Mine Operations department.

Purpose Of Role
Reporting to the Project Supervisor, the Laborer will provide support to the Mine Operations department.
Role Accountabilities
- Operate Heavy equipment such as Haul Truck, Motor Grader, Excavator, Backhoe, etc.
- Maintain and manage the water system on site
- Work on various small earthwork projects around the site
- Help maintain the site facilities and surrounding areas
- Help with various other projects as needed
- High School diploma or GED
- Ability to achieve Caterpillar certification for operating a backhoe, water truck, and tractor
- Ability to operate Heavy Equipment
- Ability to operate water pumps, fusing machine, valves, etc.
- Ability to work & multi-task in a fast -paced environment
- Strong work ethic
- Ability to work in extreme outdoor weather conditions – temperatures may exceed 100 degrees Fahrenheit
- Ability to lift 50lbs
- Can move over uneven terrain
- Ability to work 12 hour rotating shifts (day and night shifts)
- Maintain a drug and alcohol-free workplace
- Have reliable personal transportation to the site location (transportation at the site will be in company vehicles)
- Possess a valid Driver’s License
- Current MSHA.
- Two years’ experience operating heavy machinery
- Current Caterpillar certifications
