Job Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Chiropractic Assistant to join our team. As a Chiropractic Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing support to our chiropractic doctor and ensuring the smooth operation of our clinic. Your primary responsibility will be to assist with patient care, do in-house physical therapy, take x-rays and perform various administrative tasks.
Responsibilities:
- Greet patients, ensuring a warm and welcoming environment
- Assist with patient intake, including obtaining medical history and vital signs
- Prepare treatment rooms for patient examinations and therapies
- Perform in-house therapy treatments, take patient X-rays, and
- Provide assistance to the chiropractor during patient treatments
- Educate patients on chiropractic care, exercises, and lifestyle modifications
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records.
- Ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations and maintain patient confidentiality
Skills:
- Proficiency in taking vital signs accurately (in office training)
- Experience with X-ray procedures and equipment (in office training)
- Excellent interpersonal skills for providing compassionate patient care
- Strong organizational skills for managing patient appointments and maintaining records
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent required; additional certifications or training in healthcare administration is a plus
- Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in all tasks performed
