SUMMARY
- Assumes responsibilities for online lead management, online reputation through social media, online vendor relations, and the management of dealership websites.
- Ensures overall sales accountability through the utilization of CRM software.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES
- Oversee and manage daily operations of the internet sales and business development departments.
- Prepare metrics and reports that can be used to measure performance of the department.
- Work directly with our employees and customers to develop relationships and help bridge disconnects in the sales process via online.
- Build rapport with customers to build a base of referrals to establish customer network.
- Provide training and support to the staff on Phone & Internet skills and assist in closing sales.
- Provide training and support to the staff on product knowledge and product information resources.
- Manage the dealerships CRM and implement processes and work flows.
- Help manage the inventory online and the marketing of incentives.
- Work with third party vendors such as AutoTrader and Cars.com to generate and boost lead counts.
- Constantly update and purify customer records.
- Monitor customer comments and provide feedback through social media and ensure reputation management policies are in place.
- Monitor incoming calls and appointment-to-lead percentages daily.
- Promotes excellent customer service.
- Maintains a professional appearance.
- Attends managers meetings as requested.
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES
- • Responsibilities may include training of internet sales staff and business development representatives, directing work and addressing complaints and resolving problems.
QUALIFICATIONS
- High-volume dealership, Sales Manager experience with a proven track record of success (3-5 Years of experience required).
- Excellent Leadership skills, and the ability to develop and motivate a top performing sales team.
- Ability to facilitate a deal throughout the entire lifecycle of the sales process.
- Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
- Strong computer & phone skills (Internet, MS Outlook, CRM).
- Basic knowledge and skills in website development and navigation.
