Compensation : 20 - $25 hourly
Responsibilities :
- Perform maintenance and repairs on plumbing, HVAC, electrical, carpentry, appliances, and mechanical systems in residential apartment units in Pittsburgh, PA.
- Respond promptly to service calls from residents, ensuring all repairs are completed in a timely and efficient manner.
- Interact professionally and courteously with tenants, vendors, contractors, and colleagues.
- Complete maintenance tasks for unit turnovers, including prepping vacant apartments for new residents.
- Execute preventive maintenance procedures to keep equipment and systems in proper working order.
- Be available for on-call and after-hours emergency maintenance requests and work orders.
- Maintain the grounds of the community, ensuring both appearance and functionality are consistently upheld.
- Handle painting and wall touch-ups as needed.
- Perform carpet cleaning duties as part of overall maintenance responsibilities.
