Your Role as a Dental Hygienist:
- Deliver thorough and gentle hygiene care, including cleanings, scaling, root planning, fluoride treatments, and sealant applications.
- Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques and nutrition’s role in oral health to support long-term wellness.
- Foster patient trust by ensuring comfort during treatment and addressing concerns with empathy.
- Take digital radiographs as prescribed and assist in early detection and prevention strategies.
- Accurately chart periodontal health and document treatment plans.
- Work collaboratively with the dental team to ensure an efficient and well-organized patient schedule.
- Maintain sterilization and infection control standards to keep a clean, safe workspace.
What We’re Looking For:
- Licensed Dental Hygienist in the state of New York
- Graduate of an accredited dental hygiene program (associate or bachelor’s degree)
- Experience in prophylaxis, scaling & root planning, and taking X-rays
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills – you love making patients feel at ease!
- A proactive team player with strong attention to detail and organization
