BOM / HR (Business Office Manager and Human Resources)

Hudson Elms is a 50 bed skilled nursing, and 25 bed assisted living community looking for a Business Office & Human Resource Manager to join our team.

  • Experience Preferred in a Skilled Nursing setting

Jo b Responsibilities for BOM

  • Verify midnight census testing for accuracy on a daily basis

    • Complete insurance forms

    Participate in Utilization Review (UR)

    Discuss financial obligations with residents / families upon admission and discharge

    Complete and coordinate tasks necessary for timely and accurate billing and collection.

    Job Responsibilities for HR

  • Conduct Orientation for new staff

    • Complete payroll on a biweekly basis

    Monitor Time Cards daily

    Focus on recruitment

    Monitor employee benefits

    Understand policies and procedures

    Remain in compliance with confidentiality

    Other duties as assigned

    Q ualifications

  • Prefer 1-2 years in business office / HR of a Long Term Care Facility
  • Prefer a college degree in Business Administration, Accounting / Finance, or HR
  • Thorough understanding of Medicare, Medicaid, and Private Insurance, accounts receivable / collections, resident funds, and accounts payable
  • Must be computer literate
  • Ability to adhere to facilities policies and procedures
