Essential Functions:
- Performs the day-to-day management of multiple projects to ensure that project objectives are achieved within time, cost, and quality constraints
- Maintains project documentation including project plans, status reports, risk logs, etc.
- Owns project communication through both written and verbal channels to all levels of the team including status meetings, steering meetings, and information updates
- Acts as the liaison between the business and IT technical for project specific interactions
- Provide leadership to the project team; ensures that project objectives are understood and that deadlines are met
- Leads the planning, design, development, testing, and maintenance of complex business & technical solutions with a focus on quality & business performance
- Assesses, identifies, and monitors potential project risks; develops contingency plans
Reporting Relationship: The Manager, IT PMO reports to the Senior Director, IT PMO
Minimum Qualifications, Knowledge, Skills, and Work Environment:
- Education and Experience: The combination of education and professional experience must exceed 5 years:
- In a leadership role: Requires 2 years of experience supervising a team of professionals engaged in executing project management

In a technical role: Requires 5 years of experience engaged in developing and delivering project management programs, including managing large scale complex projects
- A bachelor's degree in a program related to the functional area can count for 3 of the 5-year requirement
- In the industry: 3-5 years of Hospitality, F&B and/or Retail experience
- Specialized Skillset/Competencies/Traits
- Demonstrated experience in defining, implementing, and coaching others in project management methodologies & governance
- Expertise in Portfolio/Demand management concepts and benefits; proven track record of implementing these concepts and delivering PPM benefits
- Flexible approach to change; can effectively work in a variety of situations, constantly seek improvements, is displays a forward-looking mentality
- Business acumen and also has the mindset required to understand the long-term implications of project management planning and to advance the organization's goals
- Demonstrated history of understanding the needs of the business, stakeholders, the employee population, and individual circumstances
- Demonstrated history of creating and maintaining positive work environments through coaching, developing, and leading teams to achieve common goals

- This position is located at the Retail Center of Excellence in East Rutherford, NJ
- This position may require up to 10% travel
