The Shop Coordinator (SC) serves as a pivotal role in ensuring a seamless and exceptional guest experience from the moment they enter the shop. Acting as the first point of contact, the SC is responsible for maintaining the overall appearance, cleanliness, and efficiency of the lobby and front desk, as well as supporting the Shop Lead with inventory management and daily operations. This role requires excellent customer service skills, attention to detail, and the ability to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Guest Engagement: Greet and engage guests as they enter the shop, providing a welcoming and lasting impression.
- Front Desk Management: Oversee the look, feel, cleanliness, and performance of the lobby and front desk, ensuring it reflects the brand’s standards.
- Merchandising: Maintain and organize retail shelves, ensuring products are clean, well-stocked, and displayed attractively.
- Inventory Support: Assist with inventory management, including performing backbar exchanges, checking in inventory, and supporting the Shop Lead as needed.
- Appointment Scheduling: Schedule walk-in appointments, manage cancellations and adjustments as per company guidelines, and ensure accurate use of the reservation system.
- Payment Processing: Handle electronic payments for services and products (we're a cashless business)
- Service Promotion: Actively promote the shop’s services, additional offerings (such as email and text reminders, recurring appointments), and merchandise/products for sale.
- Shop Upkeep: Continuously maintain shop cleanliness by sweeping, laundering and folding towels, supplying towel stations, stocking hot towels, and completing daily responsibilities.
- Problem Solving: Address guest concerns promptly and effectively, demonstrating forward-thinking and problem-solving abilities.
- Professional Appearance: Maintain a well-groomed and professional appearance as the face of the brand.
Pay, Benefits, & Performance:
- Hourly wage based on hours worked.

- SCs receive performance appraisals every 6 months, with opportunities for pay increases based on performance.
Qualifications:
- Must be at least 18 years old.
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Prior experience in customer service, computer, and phone service is preferred.
- Full availability for weekend and holiday shifts is preferred.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
