```Duties```
- Cordinate and assisting physician medical director in the administrative running and operations of Hudson Ophthalmology & Hudson Aesthetics MD
- Resolving outstanding Account Receivable ( AR) with medical collections, including contacting patients for payment and resolving billing issues
-Processing Licensures & Medical Credentialing of physicians
-h Process medical billing and coding, ensuring accuracy and compliance with ICD-10 and ICD-9 coding systems
- Verify insurance coverage and obtain necessary authorization for procedures
- Coordinate referrals to specialists and follow up on patient
-Address patient phone calls, respond to administrative and billing inquiries, and provide excellent customer service
- Maintain patient records, including medical history, test results, and treatment plans
- Maintain confidentiality of patient information and adhere to HIPAA guidelines
```Qualifications```
-College Associates Degree or higher or equivalent required; degree in healthcare administration preferred
- Proven experience as a medical administrative assistant or in a similar role
- Proficient in medical terminology, coding systems, and electronic health record (EHR) software
- Knowledge of medical billing processes, insurance claims, and reimbursement procedures
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and record keeping
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Ability to multitask, prioritize tasks, and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Strong organizational skills and ability to maintain confidentiality of sensitive information
Note: Experience with specific EHR software or medical coding certifications (such as CPC or CCS) may be required or preferred depending on the employer's needs.
