What are the responsibilities and job description for the Coffee Barista Associate position at Hudson Roastery Coffee bar and Café?
Responsibilities:
- Ability to prepare/serve a variety of hot and cold specialty drinks making multi drinks at a time during peak times.
- Take customer orders and accurately enter them into Square POS
- Operate coffee brewing equipment and other food preparation machinery
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the coffee bar area
- Provide excellent customer service by greeting customers, answering questions, and resolving any issues or complaints
- Handle cash transactions and maintain accurate cash handling procedures
- Follow all food safety and sanitation guidelines to ensure a safe and clean environment
Qualifications:
- Previous experience as a Barista with beautiful Latte Art skills.
- Knowledge of basic math skills for cash handling and retail math calculations
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Strong communication, interpersonal and hospitality skills to interact with customers and team members effectively
- Ability to stand for long periods of time and lift up to 25 pounds
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays
