Responsibilities :
The role of the Pharmacy Manager will be to supervise and direct the day-to-day operations of the pharmacy to provide excellence in patient care, patient safety, and adherence to regulatory requirements. This role will also require developing and implementing a strategy to drive access to medications, patient education and revenue generation.
Other responsibilities include :
- Inventory management and forecasting of medication usage to ensure the smooth functioning of the business.
- Oversee pharmacists, technicians and other personal within the department.
- Complete functions as a pharmacist to ensure adequate coverage for the department.
- Evolving outpatient pharmacy practice to increase patient satisfaction
