Job Summary
The Assistant Director of Nursing (ADON) is a pivotal leadership role responsible for overseeing the nursing staff and ensuring the delivery of high-quality patient care in an assisted living facility. Duties
- Lead and supervise nursing staff to ensure optimal patient care and adherence to clinical standards.
- Develop, implement, and evaluate individualized care plans for residents based on their medical needs.
- Oversee medical records management to ensure accuracy and compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Conduct regular documentation reviews to maintain high standards of care and identify areas for improvement.
- Manage shift schedules and staffing levels to ensure adequate coverage and continuity of care.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to coordinate patient services and enhance overall care delivery.
- Provide leadership through mentorship, training, and support for nursing staff development.
- Ensure compliance with all local, state, and federal regulations governing assisted living facilities.
