overviewOur client is seeking a Mobile X-Ray Technologist to provide diagnostic services to care facilities. This role involves performing X-rays and EKGs, communicating effectively with healthcare professionals, and maintaining equipment.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform and process X-Rays using portable digital (DR) or computed (CR) radiography equipment and submit/transmit them to a Radiologist for interpretation.
- Unload portable X-ray equipment and take it into facilities to perform exams ordered by the physician. Must obtain clinically diagnostic, technically competent x-ray images.
- Perform EKGs (as needed) and transmit them to a Cardiologist for interpretation. (if required)
- Scan exam related paperwork/billing documents on a daily basis per protocol.
- Regularly communicate with dispatch and management.
- Communicate efficiently and interact professionally with peers, supervisory staff, and clients.
- Maintain vehicle and x-ray equipment.
Schedule and Shift Details
- 12:30 pm-9 pm with rotating on-call weekends and holidays
Qualifications
required
- 1 years of experience in ANY of the following:
- Mammography
- Nuclear Medicine
- Radiology
- 1 years of experience in ANY of the following:
- Echocardiogram (echo)
- Electrocardiogram (EKG/ECG)
- Echocardiography
- 1 years of experience in ANY of the following:
- Meditech RAD – Radiology
- Biomedical Equipment
- Valid American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) certification/license
- Valid Regular Driver License (DL) certification/license
- Do you have an up-to-date Covid 19 vaccination?
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $27.85 - $29.44 per hour
