Overview
Our client is seeking a Mobile X-Ray Technologist to provide mobile X-Ray and EKG services to nursing homes, health care facilities, and other miscellaneous facilities. The role involves performing and processing X-rays using portable digital radiography equipment, unloading equipment, performing EKGs, and maintaining communication with relevant parties.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform and process X-Rays using portable digital (DR) or computed (CR) radiography equipment and submit/transmit them to a Radiologist for interpretation
- Unload portable X-ray equipment and take into facilities to perform exams ordered by the physician
- Perform EKGs (as needed) and transmit them to a Cardiologist for interpretation
- Scan exam-related paperwork/billing documents on a daily basis per protocol
- Regularly communicate with dispatch and management
- Communicate efficiently and interact professionally with peers, supervisory staff, and clients
- Maintain vehicle and x-ray equipment
Schedule and Shift Details
- M-F shifts: PM available
Qualifications
required
- Valid American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) certification/license in the state of California (CA)
- Valid Regular Driver License (DL) certification/license
- Do you have an up-to-date Covid 19 vaccination?
Preferred
- 1 years of experience in ANY of the following:
- Meditech RAD – Radiology
- Mammography
- Radiology
- 1 years of experience in ANY of the following:
- Echocardiogram (echo)
- Electrocardiogram (EKG/ECG)
- Echocardiography
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $36.02 - $39.22 per hour
