In order to be considered an applicant for this position you must meet the minimum qualifications as stated in this announcement. HVCC does not support Visas. Applicants must currently hold an unrestricted employment authorization to work in the United States and appointment will be contingent upon completion of a background check.
(Positions are with the Summer Athletic Camps and are pending enrollment).
Employment Date: Camp is scheduled:
June 30 - July 3 (no camp 7/4), 9 a.m. - Noon.
July 7 - July 11, 9 a.m. - Noon.
July 14 - July 18, 9 a.m. - Noon.
July 21 - July 25, 9 a.m. - Noon.
Minimum Qualifications: Associates Degree. At least five years of experience coaching in appropriate sport; possess working knowledge of all aspects of Tennis; prior experience working in a camp setting.
Duties and/or Responsibilities:
Responsible for supervising program activities related to his/her particular sport
Responsible for developing program content
Oversee appropriate use of college equipment and facilities
Provide support to assistant coaches in resolving problems
Make time available to meet with parents as needed
Promote the program in dealing with the community
Prepare final report and other documents as necessary
Promote good sportsmanship
Perform other duties as assigned
The Salary rate for this position is $400.00 weekly for day camp.
