What are the responsibilities and job description for the Manufacturing Associate Sanitation position at Hudson Valley Creamery?
-Hudson Valley Creamery is a producer of goat cheese products
-Candidate must be able to lift 20 pounds, stand for long periods & be able to work in a refrigerated environment for most of the day.
-Usual hours for this position are 730-4pm but can vary as you may be filling in for other production positions that start at 6am as needed.
Job Description:
- Sanitation of production machines and equipment that are used to manufacture goat cheese products.
- Production of goat cheese products on a manufacturing line to meet customer goats and orders.
Qualifications
- Experience in industrial cleaning and sanitation
- Knowledge of food production and processing environments
- Ability to perform heavy lifting tasks
- Previous janitorial or custodial experience
- Familiarity with commercial cleaning practices
- Strong attention to detail and adherence to safety protocols
