JOB SUMMARY
Provides assistance to technologists and radiologists. May also assist with front desk operations. Insures patient privacy and dignity.
You will:
- Greets the patient and verifies reason for appointment.
- Brings patients back to dressing booths and provides proper gowning directions Documents and reviews patient records.
- Explains and consents patient for procedure Thoroughly reviews list of current medications and physical conditions.
- Sets up exam rooms according to circumstance.
- Utilizes sterile technique to set up trays Provides assistance to the physician in examination and procedures as needed.
- Prepares lab work and/or specimens to be sent to lab for results as directed by the physician.
- Releases patients with follow up instructions
If You Are:
- One year of Medical Assistant experience required.
- Medical Assistant Certification
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Interpersonal and customer service abilities needed.

- Communicates, cooperates, and consistently functions professionally and harmoniously with all levels of supervision, coworkers, patients, visitors, and vendors.
- Demonstrates initiative, personal awareness, professionalism, and integrity, and exercises confidentiality in all areas of performance.
- Follows all local, state, and federal laws concerning employment including but not limited to: I-9, Harassment, EEOC, Civil rights, and ADA.
- Follows OSHA regulations, RadNet, and site protocols, policies, and procedures.
- Follows HIPAA, compliance, privacy, safety, and confidentiality standards at all times.
Salary : $20 - $24
