Job Overview
We are looking for an Office Coordinator to join our team at Hudson Valley Swim Danbury. As an Office Coordinator, you will play a vital role in delivering exceptional customer service to our clients while managing administrative tasks. With this community having a large population of Spanish and Portuguese speaking customers, this candidate must also be able to communicate fluently in Spanish. This position does not involve teaching swimming lessons!
Responsibilities
- Be present at the facility during lessons, answer incoming phone calls, and making outbound calls
- Drive business growth through marketing, attending community events and visiting local businesses to help promote the brand.
- Utilize our registration system proficiently to enroll customers, make schedule adjustments, and manage customer accounts efficiently.
- Educate potential customers about our swim school programs, emphasizing the benefits and features to help them make informed decisions.
- Assist in maintaining a smooth flow of activities on the pool deck by facilitating and reducing overcrowding during peak times.
- Collaborate with the management team to ensure seamless operations and provide support as needed.
Requirements:
- Must possess a functioning laptop to effectively carry out administrative tasks.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to interact professionally with customers and team members.
- Ability to commit to a schedule and reliably fulfill assigned shifts.
- Proficiency in English language and Spanish.
- Prior experience in customer service or administrative roles is preferred but not required.
Pay Rate:
This position offers competitive pay at $22 per hour and provides an opportunity to be part of a dynamic team dedicated to promoting water safety and providing exceptional service to our community. A successful Office Coordinator will be offered incentives based on business performance.
Hours:
We have classes currently operating TUE-SAT from 2:00-8:00 and Saturdays from 9:00-3:00. The Office Coordinator position will need to commit to be present during lessons at a minimum of 3 shifts (alternating days each week) along with other activities that can be done from home or in the field.
