Job Description:
- The primary purpose of this position is to assist with planning, organizing, developing the overall operation of the Maintenance/Housekeeping Department in accordance with current federal, state and local standards, guidelines and regulations governing our facility, and as may be directed by the Administrator, to assure that our facility is maintained in a clean, safe, and comfortable manner. Maintain the department for labor and supplies within budget guidelines.

Qualifications:
- Must have maintenance/environmental services experience in long term care
- Must have long term care/skilled nursing experience
- Must have familiarity with DOH and NFPA regulations and surveys
- Be able to write and implement policies respective to housekeeping and maintenance
- Be organized and computer proficient
- Strong communication and leadership skills
- Able to work in a fast paced building with vent and dialysis units
- Able fluidly work with housekeeping as well as building services issues
