A beautiful skilled nursing facility located in the NYC areais seeking a strong Staff Social Worker.

Staff Social Worker Job Description:

• Assist new residents and their family in the initial adjustment phase, as well as in the ongoing transition to institutional living
• Provide information to the resident, and/or family member, on residents' rights and responsibilities

Qualifications:

• Must have either BSW or MSW
• Must have previous experience as a Staff Social Worker
• Must have long-term care experience/ nursing home experience
• Must be a self-starter and energetic
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
