Job Summary:
Hudson Ranch is seeking a Cellar Intern to join our winemaking team for the 2025 vintage. As an enthusiastic and dynamic individual, you will be responsible for performing a wide range of harvest operations as part of a small, close-knit team.

Located in the heart of Napa Valley's Carneros District, Hudson Ranch has been growing grapes for exceptional winemakers for 35 years. Our estate spans 2,000 acres, where we craft award-winning wines from select parcels, including Chardonnay, Merlot, and Cabernet Franc.
Responsibilities
- Daily fermentation monitoring
- Execution of pump-overs and punch-downs
- Hand-sorting of fruit
- Sanitizing and setting up tanks, sorting equipment, and presses for receiving fruit
- Assisting with vineyard sampling and logging of data
Requirements
- A valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record
- Some proficiency in Spanish preferred
- The ability to lift and carry 50 pounds
- A willingness to work extended hours, varying shifts, nights, and weekends during harvest (6-day work week)
About the Job
This is a temporary position starting in August and continuing through November. The job is physically demanding and requires exposure to chemicals typical to the winemaking process, such as sulfur dioxide, peracetic acid, and caustic cleaners.
Compensation
This is an hourly position paid DOE (determined by experience).
