Job Overview

Duties
- Prepare and assemble sushi rolls, sashimi, and other Japanese dishes with precision and attention to detail.
- Ensure all ingredients are fresh, properly stored, and prepared according to health and safety regulations.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to plan menus that reflect seasonal ingredients and customer preferences.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization in the kitchen area, adhering to food handling standards.
- Monitor inventory levels of sushi ingredients and communicate needs to the kitchen manager.
- Assist in meal preparation for special events or catering orders as required.
- Provide excellent customer service by engaging with patrons when necessary, answering questions about menu items, and accommodating dietary restrictions.
