Veterans Healthcare Supply Solutions is hiring an Account Manager as a full-time job in Jacksonville, FL.
As an Account Manager, you will be responsible for managing an assigned portfolio of existing accounts while establishing and managing relationships with new accounts. The focus of an Account Manager is to secure solicitations and bids from Federal Healthcare customers for VHSS.
VHSS distributes medical, dental, laboratory, and food service supplies and equipment to federal, state, and local government agencies. VHSS partners with leading manufacturers to ensure the highest quality standards and to provide cost-effective solutions for our valued customers. We are strongly committed to helping our partners grow within the federal government marketplace.
Key Responsibilities:
Build an account portfolio for all managed VHSS accounts and those that are secured by the team member
Daily research of potential solicitations and bids for existing VHSS accounts
Daily research of potential solicitations and bids that would meet or exceed the business requirements and plan established by VHSS leadership
Submission, in the required portal defined timelines, of all solicitations and bids to applicable receivers
Process management through the workflow of submission, award, and fulfillment of solicitations and bids submitted
Job Qualifications:
College degree or equivalent experience through work history or military experience
Basic knowledge of Microsoft suite of products
Ability to work in corporate offce
Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a team environment, prioritizing multiple projects and tasks simultaneously
Demonstration of excellent communication skills, analytical thought, and an ability to adapt to a rapidly changing environment
