Federal Rent a Fence is hiring an Accounts Receivable (AR) / Collections Specialist in West Berlin, NJ.
We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Accounts Receivable & Collections Specialist to join our team. This role is responsible for managing overdue payments, ensuring timely collections, and maintaining accurate customer accounts. The ideal candidate is comfortable making collection calls, sending follow-up emails, and handling customer inquiries and disputes. Additionally, they will be responsible for entering invoices into customer portals, processing payment applications, and completing lien waivers as required.

Job Responsibilities :
- Contact customers via phone and email to follow up on overdue invoices and obtain payment status updates.
- Maintain detailed records of collection efforts and customer interactions.
- Enter invoices into customer portals and ensure all billing requirements are met.
- Prepare and submit payment applications and lien waivers as needed.
- Work closely with internal teams to resolve billing discrepancies and disputes.
- Monitor aging reports and escalate issues as necessary.
- Assist in reconciling accounts and applying payments accurately.
- Maintain professionalism and positive customer relationships while ensuring timely payments.
