Preco is hiring a Full-Time Production Coordinator in Somerset, WI.
The Production Coordinator is responsible for keeping major, long run jobs running smoothly and efficiently, assuring products of the best quality possible.
Preco is a leading designer and manufacturer of precision automated processing systems for high-speed and high-accuracy cutting, perforating, welding, and other specialized industrial processing applications. With our proprietary die cutting and laser-based manufacturing capabilities, Preco has also become one of the largest contract manufacturing service (CMS) providers in North America.
Key Responsibilities :
- Run parts and package as required.
- Assure parts meet customer specifications by inspecting, checking with customers, consulting with QA Specialist / Sales / Production Manager and training operators.
- Provide work direction for production workers and assist with training.
- Provide input on performance reviews, coaching, etc. while maintaining a safe and positive working environment.
- Coordinate these activities through shift supervisors as appropriate.
- Develop and maintain daily, weekly, and monthly production schedules based on demand, resources, and material availability.
- May be required to assist the Materials Department in pulling and staging materials.
- Work closely with other departments (e.g., procurement, quality control, engineering) to ensure production schedules are aligned with operational capabilities.
- Work with employees on all shifts to maintain smooth communication flow through informal communication or instruction.
- Assure availability of production supplies and raw materials such as parts, gloves, boxes, wrapping materials.
- Perform or supervise some minor maintenance functions.
- Package and route parts to shipping and clean up as required.
- Create and Complete required paperwork for production jobs.
- Work with Customer Service in communications with customers
- Understanding of materials management and inventory control.
- Various other duties as directed by Supervisor.
Job Qualifications :
High school diploma or GED.
