This role is ideal for a motivated Staff Accountant looking to build a strong foundation in accounting while progressively developing their skills to take on more complex financial responsibilities. We are seeking a highly motivated Senior Accountant who is eager to advance their career and contribute to the growth and efficiency of our accounting department.
Key Responsibilities:
- Treasury & Credit Card Accounting: Process and categorize bank and credit card transactions accurately across all operating units.
- Reconciliations & Month-End Close: Assist in month-end close by preparing reconciliations, adjusting entries, and reviewing financial data.
- Expense & Invoice Coding: Ensure proper classification of expenses, working closely with finance and operations teams.
- Financial Process Improvement: Support automation initiatives to streamline transaction processing and reporting.
- Learning & Growth: Develop expertise in financial reporting, accruals, and financial statement preparation to take on more responsibilities over time.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with AP, AR, and FP&A teams to ensure accurate financial reporting and support ad hoc projects.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance and on track/desire to obtain CPA
- Between zero to three years of accounting experience.
- Strong attention to detail and eagerness to learn.
- Proficiency in Excel and familiarity with accounting systems.
- Ambitious mindset with a desire to progress in complexity and responsibility.
