Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Manager to oversee operations at our fast casual restaurant. The ideal candidate will have experience in culinary management, staff training, inventory control, and ensuring exceptional customer service in a casual dining setting. The Huey Magoo’s Manager role is more than just a job, it is an opportunity and a steppingstone to future success in business as we are expanding to all of the WNC. The Manager’s job is to oversee all operations of the business. Responsibilities include protecting all interests of the company, maximizing operational excellence, training activities, marketing and profit generating procedures. The Manager exemplifies the actions, decision-making skills, and responsibilities of operating a successful restaurant. The Manager's role is critical in setting the overall tone and atmosphere of the restaurant across every business day part. Selecting talent, developing skills, and building community is a constant thought in the mind of this leader. This individual must be a teacher at heart and must be energized by a quick-paced environment.

· Develop and implement strategies to grow customer count, check average and outside sales with marketing and operational strengths

· Work closely with leadership team to develop plans for maximizing fiscal responsibility
· Oversee and responsibility of all spending of financial resources across the P&L

Experience
- Proven experience in a managerial role within the food service industry
- Strong knowledge of food management principles
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment

Qualifications
·Restaurant management experience (2yrs)
·Accounts payable, accounts receivable experience
·Restaurant P&L experience is a plus
·Experience in inventory management and ordering
·Experience in scheduling
·Hiring, training, and growing a team
·Experience with 3rd party audits of food safety practices
·Minimum of high school diploma or equivalent required, some college preferred
·Must be 18 years of age or older
·Proficient in a variety of technology systems, especially Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
·Be able to lift and carry, push, or pull heavy objects up to fifty pounds; kneel, bend or stoop, ascend or descend stairs; reach and grasp objects
