What are the responsibilities and job description for the Back of House Team Member position at Huey Magoo’s Hen Haven?
Huey Magoo’s Production Team Members are key players in ensuring that we are serving hand crafted, quality products to our guests in all that we serve. Our Production Team Members are responsible for daily food preparation, station management, and product quality, ensuring quick and efficient service according to Huey Magoo's standards.
RESPONSIBILITIES: · Maintains professionalism in personal appearance, conduct, and in the completion of duties by adhering to all of Huey Magoo’s policies and procedures and holds trainees accountable for following Huey Magoo’s policies, procedures, and responsibilities. · Crafts food items with TLC, according to guest notes, and ensuring products are made to company standards for quality and appearance. · Handles food, including PHF, according to all federal, state, and local regulations. · Sets up, manages, and closes production stations in the Back of House, focusing on food quality and area appearance. Team members will use supplied checklists to keep track of station progress and duties. · Maintains general cleanliness and appearance of assigned station before, during, and after shift. · Properly plates orders and maintains production flow, ensuring fresh, hot food and quick, efficient service according to Huey Magoo’s Brand Standards. · Maintains cleaning and sanitation of the kitchen and equipment. · Maintains knowledge of all menu items and recipe builds. · Assists in the control of waste in stores by rotating products according to established procedures to maintain freshness and prevent spoilage and maintaining standards for portion control. · Cleans all equipment and kitchen areas according to established procedures and frequency, maintaining thorough knowledge of proper cleaning materials. · Maintains alertness to assist in the event of an accident or emergency and communicates effectively with team members.
REQUIREMENTS: · Strong communication skills. · Ability to respond to, feedback with appropriate urgency and professionalism. · Ability to stoop and lift products and items over 40lbs. · Ability to work standing for 8 hours. · Must be able to work in a variety of temperature conditions, and with various chemicals and restaurant equipment. · Must be able to read, write, and communicate in English; multi-lingual is a plus. · Must feel comfortable working in a fast-paced, loud, and busy environment
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $12.00 - $16.00 per hour
Expected hours: 15 – 40 per week
