What are the responsibilities and job description for the Dog Bather position at Hueytown Veterinary Clinic & Pet Lodge?
Looking for energetic, efficient, and animal loving bathers in either a full time or part time capacity. We are a fast paced, 11,000 sq. ft., state of the art, small animal hospital and luxury boarding facility.
Pay is competitive and based on experience and we offer Medical, Dental, Life, Vision, Retirement and PTO benefits after 90 days for full time employees.
Our new addition must be caring, friendly, quick on their feet. You must possess the ability to multitask in a busy environment and do so with a high level of accuracy. We care for our boarders seven days a week, 365 days a year so you will be required to work some holidays and be on weekend rotations.
Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
- Bathing dogs
- Cleaning areas to include suites, cottages and bathing
- Laundry
- Communicate effectively with others, clients, doctors etc.
- Knowledge of computer systems
- Ability to lift, pull, push heavy items (up to 50lbs)
Job Type: Full-time and Part-time
Pay: $8.00 - $9.00 per hour
