CNC Programmer

Your Role
- Support Toolroom during injection molding repair by suppling programming to produce carbon electrodes for our sinker Electrical Discharge Machining (EDM) and hard milling programs for our high-speed milling machine
- Work with existing Computer-aided Machining (CAD) data and modify solids and surfaces to improve quality before machining carbon electrodes
- Provide design and programs for Computer Numerical Control (CNC) machine to produce carbon electrodes and hard steel machining using Cimatron software
- Job planning and flexible hours pending production requirements
- Organization of electrodes and reordering perishable tooling
- Transfer files from computer to machine
- Communicate with senior designer, toolmakers, and supervisors
- Updating CAD for occasional design changes
Your Skills
- High School Education/ General Education Degree (GED)
- Technical degree in machine tool technology preferred
- Journeyman Card as a toolmaker a plus
- Computer skills required
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office
