JOB OVERVIEW:
The Hotel Construction Superintendent is responsible for the on-site execution of hotel construction projects, ensuring that work is completed safely, on time, and according to specifications. This role involves hands-on leadership, coordination with subcontractors, and strict adherence to quality standards.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Manage daily job site operations, including workforce coordination, scheduling, and inspections.
- Ensure all construction activities comply with California OSHA regulations and local building codes.
- Work closely with the Project Manager to align fieldwork with project plans and timelines.
- Conduct daily safety meetings and enforce job site safety protocols.
- Oversee subcontractor performance and provide guidance on best practices.
- Manage quality control, ensuring the highest standards in materials and workmanship.
- Troubleshoot site issues and provide real-time solutions.
- Maintain comprehensive site reports, RFI logs, and progress documentation
QUALIFICATIONS:
- 10 years of experience in commercial construction, with at least 5 years in hospitality projects.
- Expertise in high-rise or mid-rise hotel construction, structural concrete, and MEP coordination.
- Strong understanding of construction sequencing, blueprints, and scheduling software.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work under pressure.
- Proven track record of delivering projects on time and within budget.
- OSHA 30 Certification and a deep commitment to job site safety.
