What are the responsibilities and job description for the Electrical Mechanic position at Huff Consulting?
Shift : 6 : 00 pm 6 : 00 am, rotating shifts. Work 2 days; off 2 days; work 3 days; off 2 days
Reports To : Electrical Supervisor
Job Purpose : To perform complex predictive and preventative electrical maintenance functions and make necessary repairs to plant electrical equipment to ensure optimal performance.
Key Responsibilities :
- Troubleshoot electrical problems, make decisions necessary to repair, and restore equipment to design specifications.
- Perform electrical tests using megger, OHM meter, and other test equipment.
- Perform work utilizing prints and / or computer logic.
- Perform complex predictive and preventative electrical maintenance functions.
- Make process control changes.
- Read wiring and circuit diagrams.
- Maintain a clean and orderly work area.
- Perform other duties as necessary.
- Perform all duties in accordance with safety rules and regulations.
