What are the responsibilities and job description for the Maintenance Technician (Part-Time) position at Huff Management Co., Inc.?
Part-Time Maintenance Technician (20 hrs per week) needed for an apartment complex located in Thibodaux, LA.
We need a tech that can work the following schedule: Monday - Friday (8am to 12pm daily).
This is a great position for someone that has their own handyman business that needs/wants steady work or for someone that is retired and looking for PT work.
Minimum Qualifications
- Two years minimum experience performing general maintenance to include: plumbing, painting, basic electrical, finished carpentry, flooring, and appliance troubleshooting required. HVAC certification preferred.
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Must provide own tools (basics), have valid DL and reliable transportation.
- Must be able to successfully pass a criminal history check prior to starting employment.
Pay & Benefits
- 20 hrs per week. Work schedule is Monday - Friday from 8:00am - 12:00pm. No evening or weekend hours available.
- $17.00 per hour
- $35 per paycheck fuel stipend and $15 per paycheck cellphone stipend provided.
- Position is eligible for paid time off and paid holidays.
- Uniform shirts provided.
- Due to its part-time status, position is not eligible for health insurance benefits.
- Eligible for annual salary increase every January
- Position offers 2 bedroom rent free unit if interested. Security deposit required.
