Project Manager

Position Summary:

This position reports to the Location Manager and is responsible for managing our precast concrete architectural and structural projects. This person will manage all aspects of projects from inception to conclusion while protecting the integrity of our core values of quality and service. Responsibilities include direct and indirect customer contact, outsourcing when necessary, reviewing purposed designs, and coordinating project schedules. The position also involves problem solving, project records and documentation.

Responsibilities/Duties:

· Point of contact on projects and performs a variety of duties such as discussing the status of projects, maintaining client satisfaction, and take action in response to client problems and concerns.

· Overseeing submittal and RFI process for projects.

· Occasionally visit job sites.

· The ability to monitor, maintain and communicate project schedules with both customers and Huffcutt team.

· Identify issues that could lead to problems and come up with solutions.

· Determine and follow through with the appropriate level of project control.

· Manage project costs to ensure that budgets are maintained.

· Document and manage work to ensure job completion.

· Work directly with sales and production to assure customer satisfaction and expectations.

Work Environment

· The position would be an in-office position with occasional site visits.

Preferred Qualifications:

· Bachelor’s degree in construction management or business management.

· Precast concrete, or other industry-specific experience.

Physical Requirements:

· Employee is regularly required to talk and hear, use hands, reach with hands and arms, stand, walk, and sit.

· The employee is occasionally required to climb or balance; stoop, kneel, crouch etc.

· The employee is occasionally exposed to a variety of extreme conditions at job sites. The noise level in the work environment and job sites can be loud. Adequate hearing protection will be provided.

Pay: $40,000.00 - $60,000.00 per year
