Job Location: Huffman’s Farm and Home – Currently hiring at our Fort Madison location

Experience/Education/Skillsets Needed:
- Good understanding of communication skills
- Understands principles of good customer service
Job Requirements Include:
- Help Customers:
o Learn store inventory and where the product is located and information about it to help customers
o Learn the cash register and help checkout customers
o Desire to go above and beyond to help the customer
o Ability to handle a disgruntled customer
- Manage Area:
o Keep inventory organized and stocked in your assigned area
o Use the POS system to manage inventory and order/transfer as necessary
o Keep a clean and well-maintained presence for all displayed items
o Create displays and endcaps in your area on existing shelf space
- Checkout customers and use POS system
- Help customers load the car, etc.
- Drive a fork truck
- Ability to train other new or part-time employees after becoming experienced
- Ability to help learn to receive goods to fill in when need receiving the product
- Ability to learn outdoor power equipment and help sell as needed
- Ability to set and create seasonal displays and endcaps
Desirable skills (Not required) Include:
- Knowledge of a relative product category in-store (farming products, animal products, power equipment, pet goods, clothing, etc.)
