Position Summary
The Warehouse Team Leader is responsible for coordinating operational functions of daily production. Included in the daily activities are training and developing employees through a balanced approach of safety, quality, delivery and cost. This role executes plans, distributes work assignments, and utilizes personal experience to assist warehouse / distribution employees with daily responsibilities. Lead will occasionally operate equipment to support deliveries and backfill employee time-off, as needed. The Team Leader encourages team effort and supportive attitudes between employees.

Safety
- Proactively identifies risks and implements countermeasures to ensure a safe work environment for all team members.
- Maintain safe and healthy work environment by understanding and enforcing EH&S policies.
- Report near misses and accidents including recommended corrective actions.
- Communicate with supervisor / management when issues arise.

Required Experience
Minimum 5 years of experience in a manufacturing or warehouse environment.
Experience with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel & Outlook) and SAP.
Must be able to physically lift, push, pull or carry products weighing up to 30 lbs
