Job Overview
We are an HIV prevention and treatment clinic looking to hire a visiting nurse to administer treatments in Brevard and Orange Counties via subcutaneous and IM injections.
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Visiting Nurse to provide high-quality healthcare services to patients in their homes or community settings. The ideal candidate will possess a strong clinical background and demonstrate exceptional interpersonal skills, ensuring that patients receive the best possible care tailored to their individual needs. This role requires a commitment to patient-centered care and the ability to work independently while collaborating with healthcare teams.
Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive assessments of patients' health status, including physical, emotional, and social needs.
- Develop and implement individualized care plans based on patient assessments and medical histories.
- Administer medications, treatments, and therapies as prescribed by physicians.
- Monitor patients for changes in condition and report findings to the appropriate healthcare professionals.
- Provide education and support to patients and their families regarding health management and wellness strategies.
- Maintain accurate documentation of patient care activities in compliance with regulatory standards.
Qualifications
- Valid LPN or RN nursing license in the state of practice.
- Spanish speaker
- Knowledge of occupational health practices is beneficial.
- Proficient in performing venipuncture and other clinical procedures.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to build rapport with patients and families.
- Ability to work independently while managing multiple priorities effectively.
- Commitment to providing compassionate and respectful care to all patients.

Pay: $40.00 - $50.00 per hour
