Hugger Mugger Yoga products is seeking a Warehouse Operations Manager with excellent supply chain management skills. We’re looking for a qualified candidate to handle the procurement process, sourcing suppliers and managing vendor relationships. In addition to sourcing, negotiating, and purchasing products we’re looking for someone to manage productivity, production, quality control and safety measures as established and set by OSHA.

The Warehouse Operations Manager will be responsible for supply chain management and working with the Warehouse Manager to direct daily activities including inventory control, workflow, and efficient utilization of space and equipment. You will be accountable for achieving company objectives, productivity standards, managing production, safety and cost control goals. This is a hand-on role that requires a leader who leads by example.

JOB DUTIES

  • Monitoring inventory levels, analyzing demand patterns and implementing inventory management strategies to manage stock levels and avoid shortages or excesses.
  • Managing supplier relationships, including ongoing performance evaluation and issue resolution
  • Schedules deliveries and ensures timely fulfillment of orders.
  • Ensures quality of procured items and addresses problems when they arise
  • Prepare production schedule and coordinate work assignments
  • Direct warehouse supervisory personnel to achieve performance goals
  • Manage processes for production, shipping, receiving, equipment use and inventory
  • Evaluate operations and make recommendations for improving day-to-day efficiencies
  • Monitor the cleanliness and working condition of all equipment and oversee repairs as needed
  • Work with other departments to ensure coordination for overall effective operations
  • Manage inventory control including conducting regular physical counts
  • Develop and maintain a high-performance work team with training and professional development
  • Ability to operate, train and coach others on all equipment used in their area of responsibility

  • Maintain a clean, neat and orderly warehouse

EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE AND REQUIREMENTS

  • College Degree, preferred, not required
  • 5 years relevant work experience with global sourcing, logistics and supply chain best practices
  • Relevant certification in procurement or supply chain management
  • Expertise in warehouse management procedures and best practices
  • Proven ability to implement process improvement initiatives

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES

  • A broad range of management skills including leadership, supervision, motivation, communication, and planning
  • Ability to allocate both human and material resources efficiently
  • Capable of handling multiple tasks simultaneously and meeting deadlines
  • Proficiency in data analysis and reporting tools
  • Excellent communication and intercultural skills
  • Ability to think logically, troubleshoot and problem-solve to make sound decisions
  • Hands-on experience with warehouse management software and databases
  • Must be able to handle stress caused by meeting deadlines due to tight scheduling requirements
  • Must be able to shift priorities easily

PHYSICAL DEMANDS

  • Ability to stand and sit for periods of time and to move intermittently throughout the workday
  • Ability to perform focused work with close attention to detail
  • Must have strong sensory skills, such as good eyesight, good hearing, and dexterity
  • Ability to push, lift, carry, pull, and/or throw up to 50 pounds
  • Ability to work in and adapt to both hot and cold environments

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $55,000.00 - $60,000.00 per year
