Monday-Friday 8:00am-5:00pm.
Responsible for management of assigned staff, assist with incoming calls/emails, agency intake process, effective allocation of staff to service patients, liaison with referral sources, complete joint visits with clinical staff, assist quality assurance dept with chart reviews and quality scores as needed and other clinical duties as may be required.
Education and Formal Training: Unrestricted clinical license (RN, PT, OT, or SLP) in the state of North Carolina.
Work Experience: 5 years healthcare experience (including three years in home health within the past five years). Requires recent prior experience in providing home health services in accordance with relevant state and federal home health regulations and The Joint Commission Accreditation Standards for Home Health Care.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Required: Must be able to be creative, flexible and possess proper critical thinking skills. Demonstrates a high level of mental and emotional tolerance and even temperament when dealing with ill people; uses tact, sensitivity, sound judgment, and a professional attitude when relating with patients, families, and co-workers at all times. Actively functions as a patient advocate. Must have thorough knowledge of home health regulations.
